Key Responsibilities

Overview

Laser Industrial Services CDL Operators perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials. Operators/CDL Drivers will be responsible for driving and operating, efficiently and safely, all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with federal and local laws and regulations as well as all company policies and procedures.

  • Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections, ensure proper setup, and verify job-site safety compliance before work begins.
  • Follow and enforce company safety standards, PPE requirements, and environmental procedures at all times.
  • Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
  • Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
  • Complete job reports, time sheets, and inspection documentation accurately and on time.
  • Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and client representatives to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Participate in required training, certifications, and safety meetings.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Must possess a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or be able to obtain one.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
  • Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
  • Physically capable of working in all inclement weather conditions.

Preferred:

  • Certifications such as TWIC, OSHA 10/30, HAZWOPER
  • Experience in refineries, chemical plants, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
  • 1 year of industrial cleaning or vacuum truck experience (or equivalent trade experience).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial safety protocols and equipment operation.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to high noise levels, hazardous atmospheres, confined spaces, inclement weather, and heights.
  • Rotating shifts, weekend work, emergency response, and travel may be required.
  • Strict adherence to company and client procedures at all times.
